Lorraine Lorraine Anna AnnaAnna Chlumsky is a critically acknowledged American actress, who came to notoriety as a child actor in the movies 'My Girls", and its sequel My Girl 2. She continued to charm viewers with leading part in films such as "Trading Mom" and "Gold Diggers: the Secret of Bear Mountain'. She was awarded numerous awards due to her roles in these films early in her career. The young woman, who felt she was left out of her group at school during film shoots began to feel disengaged from the business of entertainment during her high school years. She was interested in acting but her interest in the industry began to wane and she shifted her focus to her schooling. Her dream was to be a food journalist but the only job she received was a fact-checker at Zagat Restaurant Guide. In fact, her new job as an editor's assistant at HarperCollins was a sour experience for her. Following the advice from her agent she decided that she would return to acting. She attended acting classes to enhance her abilities. Within a couple of months she was offered the part of Liza on 'In The Loop'. Soon afterwards she began appearing in Off Broadway shows. Although she wonders what would have transpired had she not taken time away from acting, it is something she is glad that she didn't.
